Microvee / Fine Filters

In HVAC and Air Handling Units (AHU), Microvee filters (also known as "Fine Filters") are secondary-stage filtration units designed to capture smaller particles that pass through primary pre-filters. They are typically installed between the pre-filter and the final HEPA filter to prevent the latter from clogging prematurely. Microvee filters are widely demanded in environments requiring high air purity like Pharmaceutical and Food processing, Hospitals and Laboratories, Industrial Paint booths.

Key Characteristics

• Media and Construction: These filters use high-quality non-woven synthetic media or micro-glass fibres paper. The media is often deep-pleated to increase surface area, improving dust-holding capacity and reducing airflow resistance.
• Frame Materials: Typically constructed with Aluminium, or Stainless Steel (SS304) frames.
• Washability: Many Microvee filters are designed to be washable and reusable, particularly those using synthetic media, allowing for maintenance with water or air jets.
